The Latest Release From Minnesota & VCTRE Is Definitely "Not A Trend"

Minnesota and VCTRE have teamed up to bring us their wonky new collab, “NOT A TREND”. This is Minnesota’s second release of the year, following up “P Juice” and VCTRE’s first release since his half-hour ID mix, both which were released in February. With an extended intro that lulls you into a false sense of security, “NOT A TREND” is a wild mix of irregular rhythms and syncopation that sneaks up on you with hard bass and creative sound design. With this being the first of at least six collabs VCTRE has been sitting on, we’re pumped for a huge year for the budding artist. Minnesota spoke highly of his experience working with VCTRE in an Instagram post last week, “VCTRE is one of my favorite producers right now and it was such a treat to get to work on a track with him”. Minnesota recruiting VCTRE for a track felt like a full-circle moment for VCTRE, who considers Minnesota a direct inspiration as well as an artist VCTRE has been listening to for ten years.
